I believe there is an innate strength in all of us; I also know that living a fulfilling life is a challenging task. My focus is on empowering people to achieve the life they desire, and helping them gain the peace, ease, or contentment that they seek. I believe healing is possible in all situations, and that having a caring other as a witness can be a powerful agent of change.
Using a blend of existential and narrative approaches, and always being guided by a person-centered model, I will allow clients to explore their own bio-psycho-social experiences to find the answers they have been unable to procure on their own. I have experience working with adults, couples, families, and adolescents, addressing a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, life transitions, LGBTQ+ issues, gender questions and/or non-conforming, trauma, substance abuse, eating disorders, self-harm, relationship issues, grief and loss, living with chronic illness, spiritual questioning, and divorce.
